ROCHESTER, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/30/07 -- ImageXpres Corporation (PINKSHEETS: IMJX) announced today that the Company has officially launched its digital advertising media subsidiary, 1080i Media, headquartered in Orlando, FL, with a satellite office in Tampa, FL. Initial sales and market trials are now underway in Orlando, Florida, and several new targeted sites are being readied to go online in the next few weeks in the high-density tourist and entertainment geographic region. The new advertising media enterprise has also launched its new website, www.1080imedia.com, that will feature advertisements of current clients, and deliver additional media exposure for its clients via multimedia technology strategies.
ImageXpres previously signed a joint venture agreement with The Franchise Edge (TFE), a Tampa, Florida-based franchise development and marketing company, to distribute, market, and support ImageXpres' LitePix Digital Signage Systems in the Orlando and South Florida retail and hospitality market. The business agreement dictated the formation of an advertising media marketing company, 1080i Media, LLC that will spearhead the marketing and sales efforts in the Orlando test market and verify the business model for future franchise development activity in third quarter 2007.
"Our business venture with The Franchise Edge is progressing very well, and we are right on schedule with respect to 1080iMedia's planned marketing and sales activities," states ImageXpres President, John S. Zankowski. "Our initial install in the Orlando, Florida market is performing as planned, and paves the way for additional installs in the coming weeks. The success of 1080i Media bodes well for future sales of ImageXpres' LitePix Digital HD-ADTV signage systems. ImageXpres is supplying the HD-ADTV hardware, remote management software/technology infrastructure, and creative design content creation, and 1080i Media, along with TFE management support, is driving market development and advertising media sales activities in the target markets. Early results are extremely encouraging, resulting in growing sales of both hardware and digital content services."
Carmen Guilfoyle, President of 1080iMedia, states, "We are pleased with the initial pilot in the Orlando market, PC NAILS salon (host location). We are very excited about working intricately with local business owners. This truly is a great opportunity for businesses to break through to a targeted audience and claim themselves as the neighborhood specialist. We fully expect 1080i Media to be a huge success as we move forward with initial placements and sales. New advertising customers are signing up daily now that local establishments are being identified, and our major marketing activities take hold." 1080i Media is targeting high profile locations, such as restaurants, fitness centers, nail salons, medical professional offices, and other high volume traffic areas with wait times of 20 minutes or more averaging a minimum viewer base per month. Guilfoyle adds, "The excitement with this product, is being able to deliver media rich advertising to businesses at a price that they can afford. With our screen on screen output; it entertains clients while they wait with HDTV broadcast, while offering near-by products and services that will help solve their problems and desires. Whether it is pet groomers, title companies, colleges or home repair, the advertisers are at the viewer disposal. It's a perfect match for businesses and customers to find each other." Sales are expected to expand rapidly and franchise opportunities will be available within the year. To learn more visit www.1080iMedia.com.
